What is a clear Bra?
A clear bra is a urethane film with an adhesive backing that is applied on top of the painted sections of your new car.

They are typically 8mil thick and create an invisible barrier between the paint and the hazards of the road.

What’s the difference between PPF and ceramic coatings?
Ceramic coatings are an option that makes cleaning your vehicle easier. The thickness of the application is almost immeasurable. So, they do not stop rock chips or mild scratches and it must be reapplied annually for best results. If not applied correctly, can result in haziness or streaks. If not cured correctly can be badly affected by hard water deposits and other stains.

PPF is true paint protection. Look for films that do not require additional coatings to prevent staining.
Elastomeric polymers allow “clear coat” scratches and swirl marks to heal themselves giving covered areas a polished and new appearance for years and miles to come.

What is the warranty?
Technology has improved the life of the PPF and most films offer a ten year warranty. The items warranted typically include yellowing, blistering and cracking. While we cannot predict what you might run into the film surprises us at how well it works, but tears and chips are not covered.
Can it be removed?
PPF can be removed by stretching the film at a 45 degree angle. Any adhesive left over can be cleaned using adhesive remover.
Should I wax the film?
Yes. It’s best to use waxes containing no petroleum distillates or naphtha’s.
Custom or Kits
Digitally designed templates mean No Cutting on your paint. There are plenty of companies making kits but we only use the templates designed by CORE Technologies. It cost a little more but the net result is edge to edge protection with all available edges wrapped. The damage done by hand cutters is permanent and undetectable until the film is removed.
